Codes Department Updates: On-Lot Sewage Disposal System Reporting Updates and State Building Code Update
On April 6th, 2026, the Londonderry Township Board of Supervisors adopted Ordinance 2026-04 which made changes to Chapter 18 Sewage and Sewage Disposal, Part 1 On-Lot Sewage Disposal System (OLSDS) Management of the Londonderry Township Code of Ordinances.

State Building Code Update
*** GRACE PERIOD ENDING - EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2026 ALL APPLICATION MUST BE SUBMITTED AND REVIEW AGAINST THE ADOPTED 2021 CODE REVIEW AND APPROVAL ***
Effective January 1st 2026: The Pennsylvania Uniform Construction Code will begin enforcing the 2021 Model I-codes of the International Code Council.

All applications with a contract signed on or before December 31st, 2025 and submitted for review prior to June 1st, 2026 may be reviewed and approved under the existing 2018 Codes. Any contract signed after January 1st 2026 will be reviewed against the new standard.
