On-Lot Septic:
The majority of Londonderry Township is served through private On-Lot Sewage Disposal Systems (OLSDS). These systems are regulated through the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and these regulations are enforced by a Sewage Enforcement Officer (SEO). Londonderry Township has appointed the following individual to act as the Township SEO and all questions regarding permitting, testing, and other on-lot development questions should be directed to them.

Public Sewer:
Public Sewer is provided by Derry Township Municipal Authority in select areas of the Township. Questions regarding permitting of proposed public connection should be directed to DTMA
On-Lot Sewage Disposal System (OLSDS) Pumping and Reporting Program
On April 6th, 2026, the Londonderry Township Board of Supervisors adopted Ordinance 2026-04 which made changes to Chapter 18 Sewage and Sewage Disposal, Part 1 On-Lot Sewage Disposal System (OLSDS) Management of the Londonderry Township Code of Ordinances.
As part of the requirements of this portion of the Township Code all properties within Londonderry Township are required to submit a report once (1 time) every four (4) years based on a particular cycle.
To establish this cycle the Township has been split in five (5) different districts as shown in the maps provided on the left side bar page.

At least 18 month prior to the Report & Inspection Due Date for a given district, the Township will begin providing Notices and reporting forms to be completed by the Registered Pumper Hauler (see above) of the Property Owners choice. All forms, fees and submissions are the responsibility of the Property Owner.
A district notice cycle will look similar to the example given below (District 3 reporting for 2028 used as an example)

The Property Owner is responsible under the Ordinance to do the following:

- Receive "Notices" from the Township
- Provide blank form received with "Notice" to Pumper/Hauler
- Receive back completed form
- Provide completed form and processing fee to the Township by reporting due date

At this time report forms can only be accepted through mail with a check or through delivering in person with a check or credit/debit card (please note at all debit/credit transactions have a 3% fee)
