Property Maitenance Regulations
Background
Londonderry Township originally adopted a Property Maintenance Code on September 7th, 2010 through Ordinance 2010-02. This Ordinance amended Chapter 5 Code Enforcement of the Londonderry Township Code of Ordinances by creating Chapter 5 Part 2 Property Maintenance.
On August 1st, 2022 the Township Property Maintenance Code was updated through Ordinance 2022-01 to put the 2018 International Property Maintenance Code (IPMC) in place as the enforceable standard in Londonderry Township.
The International Property Maintenance Code (IPMC) is published by the International Code Council (ICC) as part of their model I-code standards and is designed so that the local municipality is required to fill in certain information for their local jurisdiction. These items are for requirements such as fine costs, dates for heating requirements, and similar other fill in items.
