Road Closure

Swatara Creek Rd will be closed between Iron Mine Rd & Newberry Rd (under the Turnpike bridge) starting Nov 2 through Nov 16. The closure will be from 7:00 am - 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. 

Detour is either using Colebrook Rd to Rt 230 to Vine St to Red Bridge Rd or Schoolhouse Rd to Round Top Rd to Colebrook Rd. 

The reason for the closure is to install a water line on Swatara Creek Rd under the Turnpike bridge so that this section of roadway can be paved and also to paint the new steel beams under the bridge
