Swatara Creek Road Closure

April 26th and April 27, 2022

Swatara Creek Road will be closed between Newberry Road and Red Bridge Road on Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. While the contractor is installing the sewer force main, the existing water line trench stone is falling in creating an undermining condition under the roadway. This is a very dangerous area for vehicles to be traveling, since there is nothing under the asphalt which could cause the road to fall in, injuring workers (at worst, causing fatal injuries) and/or damaging vehicles. Please use Schoolhouse Road to Newberry Road during this time. Thank you for your understanding.
