Animal Surrender forms (friendly cats and dogs)

Londonderry Township contracts with The Humane Society of Harrisburg each year to allow Township residents to bring in both feral cats and strays cats and dogs. Before bringing the animals to the Humane Society, residents must first obtain an animal surrender form from the Township office.  The office is open Monday thru Thursday, 8am-4pm and Fridays, 9am-2pm. Proof of residency is required. One form per animal is given. Animals are not permitted inside the Township building.  No appointment is needed to surrender stray animals at the Humane Society.

Trap and Release  (feral cats only)

The Humane Society of Harrisburg now offers low-cost TNR services. They can accommodate up to 2 walk-ins per day on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. The cost is $50.00 and includes spaying/neutering, ear tip and vaccines. No appointment is needed. Residents can also schedule TNR appointments by calling 717-702-7330 to guarantee an appointment for a specific day.
