EXONERATIONS:  Lower Dauphin School District allows for partial exonerations for citizens who are:

  • Over 70 on July 1
  • Disabled
  • Full-Time College Student Both Semesters of the School Year
  • Income Under $4000.00 for the Calendar Year
  • Out-Of-State Military

 The exemption is for the $250.00 Occupation Tax.  The $10.00 Per Capita and the $5.00 Township Tax is still due and payable.  To qualify for the exemption you must pick up an exemption form from the Tax Office, fill it out, sign it, and return it to the Tax Office.  Writing notes on the tax bill does not qualify.

Discounted Tax Preparation Assistance
Do taxes baffle you? Do you need assistance preparing your tax forms? Help is available! Chris Feese of “Count on Me, Accounting and Business Services”, will be offering discounted tax preparation on February 13th, 27th and March 13th. She will be available from 10AM – 3PM at the Township Building located at 783 South Geyers Church Road. Chris will help you make sense of your taxes and file your tax returns at an affordable rate. This service is not sponsored by Londonderry Township, Chris will be acting as an independent tax preparer.
